Athanasios Arvanitis

Founder & CEO

The head of ARFIDECO, Athanasios Arvanitis, is an economist and a graduate of the Business Administration Department of University of Piraeus. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University in the UK.

He has extensive experience as a Business Consultant and senior executive in multinational companies (NIXDORF-SIEMENS, JWT) and Greek firms (EMI Consulting S.A., etc.), with significant distinctions at an international level.

Among his achievements:

• He led the Management Consulting team for the Central Macedonia Regional Operational Program (1992-1996) and served as Project Management Director for the Central Greece Regional Operational Program (1996-2000), overseeing approximately 1,000 projects with a total budget exceeding €600 million €.

• He participated in the development and evaluation of strategic and business plans for major Greek companies.

• He served as President of the Board of Directors of the AIESEC Greece Alumni Association (2000-2006). Additionally, he has been involved in the cultural sector as a Teacher at the Lyceum of Greek Women of Lamia (1975-1981) and a member of the Lyceum of Greek Women of Athens. He is currently Vice President of the “Friends of the Lyceum of Greek Women of Athens” Association.

Ilias Arvanitis

Senior Consultant & Partner

Since October 2024, Ilias Arvanitis has been part of our team. He is a graduate of the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds an MA in Applied Educational Leadership & Management from the University of London (UoL) / Institute of Education (IoE).

With 15 years of experience in a multinational environment (KUMON), as the franchise network manager for the Balkan countries, and an extensive involvement in the education sector, he strengthens ARFIDECO in Change Management, Process Optimization, and Business Operations. As the Master Licensee of LMI in Greece and Cyprus, he also specializes in Leadership Training, Performance Improvement, and Productivity Enhancement for executives.
